Dan Grading Success

The LUKC blog is off to a flying startwith good news for its first post! Our longest running 1st kyu has finally taken the plunge and gone for his blackbelt. I think he deserves to finally put Bassai Dai to rest and enjoy the delights of the other dan grade katas!

Saying that, its not all good news. For the first time in 20 years Neil is going to have to struggle with the annoyance of a new belt. While, his well worn and trusted brown belt would never let him down, new black belts have a mind of their own and need some persuasion before they'll stay tied during a fight!
